Scrip Tuition Rebate Program Enrollment The OCS Scrip Tuition Rebate Program is the method for school families to earn a tuition rebate by purchasing gift cards from the OCS Scrip Office. The Scrip Program runs year round from May 1 to April 30. Tuition rebates are typically distributed in the month of June for tuition of that fall's enrollment. OCS purchases gift cards at a discounted price from local and national merchants. Our families buy these gift cards at their face value. Yes No Tuition rebates are allocated 70% to the school family and 30% to Owensboro Catholic Schools. All orders must be paid in full at time of purchase. Cash, check or credit card accepted. Credit cards are charged a 3% fee. Make checks payable to OCS. A $35 fee will be charged for returned checks or PrestoPay returns due to non-sufficient funds (NSF). Gift cards are the same as cash and should be handled accordingly. OCS is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen or misplaced while in your possession. Gift cards are non-returnable. Gift cards are NOT tax deductible because you receive dollar for dollar value. Families should verify the accuracy of the gift card order immediately upon receipt. In the unlikely event of a discrepancy, please contact the OCS Scrip Office as soon as possible. Purchasing families are responsible for knowing the “usage guidelines” for the retailers from whom they purchase gift cards. Terms of individual gift cards can be found on the “Shop” tab at ShopWithScrip.com. The maximum tuition rebate you can apply in a school year is the amount of your family’s tuition. Tuition rebate is applied to party responsible for tuition. Current Family Additional Policies and Guidelines If your child(ren) no longer attend(s) OCS for any reason, and you have a scrip credit balance, the rebate will be applied to your outstanding tuition balance. Families must sign a Waiver of Responsibility, found in the online registration, before gift cards will be released to your student for delivery. School scrip pickup is at K-8 locations on Tuesdays and Fridays when school is in session.
