Admissions

First and foremost, we cannot thank you enough for your consideration of the Owensboro Catholic Schools! Our community is blessed with outstanding educational choices. We currently serve more than 800 families in implementing the OCS difference. For our 1,200 children, Owensboro Catholic Schools provide an insulated learning environment staffed with vocation-based instructors. About 20% of our families represent different faith denominations, which provides us with opportunities to learn and grow in our knowledge of others.

Several studies have shown that Catholic education leads to happier, healthier, and harder-working adults. Our OCS schools have lower teacher/student ratios, and we work hard to develop meaningful, lasting relationships with the families we serve.

There are thousands of generous families and alumni in our community who work hard to make the Owensboro Catholic School System affordable for every family who is willing to serve and sacrifice for their children’s education. There is a confidential online registration form for parents who would like to apply for tuition assistance.

If you have any questions or are ready to join the Owensboro Catholic Schools family, please follow the below Step by Step Instructions to begin the admissions process. As the Admissions Coordinator for our system, I am thrilled to assist in setting up school visits, getting you in contact with our principals directly, and the process of registration from start to finish.

Thank you for your consideration of the Owensboro Catholic School System!

After the interview, the campus will notify the Admissions Office of acceptance or denial.

If the student is accepted, the parent or guardian will receive an email with instructions to fill out an application and submit a $35 non-refundable fee.

  • If your family is new to OCS, you will have to create an application account.
  • If you have already created an application account, you will use those credentials for your new student.

Step Three

After the Admissions Office receives the application, you will receive an enrollment email with instructions on how to access the enrollment packet for your student(s). Please fill out the enrollment packet in its entirety along with selecting a payment method and submit the Enrollment Packet.

After 24-72 hours, you’ll need to log back into your FACTS Family Portal and access the medical questions for your new student. The enrollment process is complete once the Medical questions are submitted.

Step Four

Lastly, we suggest all our families sign up for campus emails for each of your students and In the Loop to keep up with everything that is happening throughout OCS. We also recommend subscribing to our OCS text alerts to be notified of inclement weather closings & delays, important news, and updates.
