About OCS

Owensboro Catholic Schools is a Catholic school system that provides a quality education to its students. We do this in a disciplined, safe environment that is rich in tradition.

We offer students and their parents a family atmosphere, challenging curriculum, caring and professional teachers and opportunities for spiritual and academic growth.

Owensboro Catholic Schools are fully accredited by the State of Kentucky’s Non-Public Schools Commission. The Owensboro Catholic Elementary has two campuses. The Elementary K-3 Campus serves our Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-grade students while the Elementary 4-6 Campus serves our 4th, 5th and 6th-grade students. This allows our students to collaborate academically and socially to create a strong school unit. OCMS consists of grades 7-8; while grades 9-12 are at OCHS.

All of the schools within the system are dedicated to Mary; the Elementary K-3 Campus through the Annunciation, the Elementary 4-6 Campus through the Immaculate Conception, the Middle School through the Holy Family and the High School through the Assumption.

To that end, students receive daily religious instruction, attend weekly Mass, participate as liturgical ministers (cantors and lectors) and partake in school-wide community service projects.

Our students are our greatest source of pride! From their classroom accomplishments, to their service to the community, to their success in both athletic and academic competitions, our students exemplify what it means to be true leaders!
