Classroom Guidance Lessons
Hello! My name is Andra Montgomery, and I am the guidance counselor at the K-3 Campus. I was a classroom teacher at K-3 and Holy Name for over 20 years before taking on this new and exciting role. I visit each classroom monthly to teach lessons focusing on social-emotional learning. Lessons cover a wide range of topics, such as feelings and emotions, friendship, respect, self-regulation, and growth mindset.
Individual Counseling
Some students can benefit from one-to-one counseling regarding academic, social, or emotional challenges. Individual counseling is determined on an as-needed basis.
Small Group Counseling
Small group counseling may also be available. These sessions would be three to four students working on a specific topic. Parent permission is required to participate in a small group.
