The Diocese of Owensboro announces Sara Guth as the new Owensboro Catholic Middle School (OCMS) Principal, effective mid-June. Mrs. Guth replaces Mr. David Kessler who recently accepted the position of Assistant Superintendent of Catholic Schools.

“Mrs. Sara Guth has been a successful principal during her educational career path,” said Fr. Pat Reynolds, Episcopal Vicar for OCS. “It is a pleasure to welcome her as a leader in the OCS family.”

“After serving as Assistant Principal for five years, I am honored and humbled to be named the new OCMS Principal for 2018-19,” said Mrs. Guth. “It is such a blessing to be able to continue working with our dedicated and talented staff and to help move our students along their spiritual and academic paths.  I look forward to my new position at OCMS and to serving the Owensboro Catholic Community.”

Mrs. Guth holds an Administrator’s License in Indiana, Teacher’s Licenses in Indiana and Kentucky, and has applied for a Kentucky Administrator’s License. She graduated from Oakland City University with a Master of Arts in Administration and from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
