Great things are coming up for the OCS Band Program. The Winter Ensemble will be holding a Friends and Family Performance on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the OCHS Gym. The OCS Band Spring Concert is Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. in the OCHS Gym. Both events are free and open to the public.
Lenten Service Project
This Lenten Season, all OCS students will be participating in a system wide Lenten Service Project. OCS students are collecting and assembling care packages for the residents and staff at the Carmel Home. Here’s how each grade is participating:
- K-3: Create cards for the residents.
- 4-6: Decorate paper bags for the donations.
- Middle School: Collect travel-sized items. (Items needed below)
- OCHS: Assemble and deliver the goodie bags.
Spring into Summer 5K
It’s time for the 2nd Annual Spring into Summer 5K Run/Walk fundraiser!
This fundraiser has been passed down from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2027.
It will be an annual fundraiser for the Sophomore class to raise funds for Prom, Snowball, Baccalaureate, Class Picnics, and other items that arise during their time here at Catholic High.
This race will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, beginning and ending at Owensboro Catholic High School.
OCMS Football Parent Meeting
Owensboro Catholic Middle School is hosting a Parent Informational Meeting for all who are interested in playing football for the middle school next school year. The meeting is Tuesday, March 25th at 6:30pm. OCMS Football is open to all boys currently enrolled 5th, 6th or 7th grade. We will discuss the Football Spring Practice (beginning after Spring Break), 7 on 7 tournament season and the upcoming Fall Season.
Meeting location is in OCMS Cafeteria. Park in back and enter through back doors of the school.

Registration is Open
Are you a current family that will be welcoming a new student for the 2025-2026 school year or do you know someone that is looking to enroll their child into OCS? If so, get the registration process started today by completing a New Student Inquiry form (this form is required even for current families).
Returning families will have until March 31st to complete registration for all their students without incurring a late fee. A completed registration includes a submitted enrollment packet AND Magnus health information. If either one of those is not completed by March 31st, families will be charged a late fee.

Support the OC Band by joining us for a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 22! Enjoy a delicious meal and stick around for a special show—our Spring Play, This Murder Was Staged. Dinner is just $10, and tickets for the play are $5 each.

Free Grief Camp for Kids young people ages 6-16 that have experienced the death of a relative or a close friend. This camp offers an opportunity for young people to commemorate and remember loved ones and to better understand the feelings associated with grief and loss.
