GAAP Program Meeting TODAY at 5:30 PM

The German-American Partnership Program is being offered to OCHS students for the first time this year after having been working with some high schools in Bowling Green, KY for the past 15 years. This exchange is a partnership with the Anne Frank Gymnasium (High School) in Werne, Germany, and is supported by the Goethe Institute, the US Department of State, and the German government. Students from that high school are coming here to Kentucky for two weeks in November, and our students (OCHS students – as well as Greenwood HS and South Warren HS in BG) have the opportunity to host these students. Then in June of 2025, those who host a student, have the opportunity to go to Germany for two weeks and stay with the student they hosted if they desire!!

If this sounds like something you’d like to do, please plan to attend an informational meeting TONIGHT at 5:30 PM in the Alumni Room at OCHS with Suzanne Cecil White and Ginny Coomes.  We are accepting applications from now until the spots are filled.

If your family is interested in hosting a student from the Anne-Frank High School, and you need more information  reach out to [email protected]

OCMS Cheer Squad Meeting

Owensboro Catholic Middle School will be hosting a Parent Information Meeting next Wednesday, February 7th at 5:30 pm in the OCMS library for those with a child interested in cheering next year for OCMS. Cheer is open to all incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Please reach out to Brett Downing with any questions. – [email protected]

Why Owensboro Catholic Schools?

We want to keep showcasing all that OCS has to offer to the Owensboro community! If you’re willing to share your “WHY OCS” we’d love to hear from you and feature these testimonials on our social media!

Are You Utilizing Scrip?

The Scrip program is designed to fundraise on everyday purchases. Think about it; groceries, gas, clothes, utilities, dining out, some medical expenses, vet bills, etc…  We keep cards in stock for most of the places you are spending money and shopping at already, both locally and nationally. Whether you’re a current family in Owensboro Catholic Schools or are expecting your first child, you can participate!

To get started earning, visit the Scrip Office located within the OCS Central Office at the rear of Owensboro Catholic High School under the green awning. The phone number for the Scrip Office is 270-478-1796. Our wonderful volunteers can talk you through the ordering process and offer some tips and tricks to help you make the most of the rebates available.  Once in the habit, we think you will find buying and using scrip couldn’t be easier!
