As our OCHS Football Team heads to Lexington for the State Championship against Lexington Christian, we want to send them off with our full support, pride, and prayers. This team has shown incredible heart, determination, and teamwork all season long, and we know they will represent OCHS with excellence both on and off the field.

Reminder there will be NO SCHOOL TOMORROW (Dec. 5)! Scrip and Central Office will be closed to allow our school family and friends the opportunity to travel to Lexington and cheer on our football team and coaches.
Pickup for State Football apparel orders will be this Thursday (Dec. 4) from 9–2. Enter through the front doors on the Parrish Ave side!
Chapel Dedication Mass
Our Chapel Project is nearing completion! What started as our small gym is now a beautifully transformed, sacred, and permanent space for worship. Every student in our school visits the chapel at least once per week–and many return multiple times. This new space will provide a peaceful home for prayer, reflection, and the sacraments, at the very heart of our catholic mission to form disciples of Christ.
On December 12, Bishop Medley will celebrate a dedication Mass for our students and faculty. Due to limited capacity, we will not be able to host outside visitors at this time, but we are planning special Mass times for donors and the community to come and experience this beautiful new chapel.

On TUESDAY, December 9th — the 75th day of school — we invite our entire Owensboro Catholic community — students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families — to wear their 2025–2026 Faith in Education shirts in honor of 75 incredible years of OCS!
For 75 years, OCS has been more than just a place of learning—it’s been a home where faith is nurtured, friendships are formed, and futures are built on the foundation of Christ. As we celebrate this milestone, we give thanks for all those who have made OCS what it is today and for the generations who continue to carry on our mission.
So pull out your Faith in Education shirt, wear it proudly, and help us show what 75 years of faith-filled education looks like!
Pre-K- 5th Grade Cheerleading Camp
OCHS Winterguard Clinic
The Owensboro Catholic Winterguard will be hosting a Clinic for anyone interested in joining on Friday, December 12 from 3:30 to 5:30 in the Owensboro Catholic High School Gym. Winterguard is open to any OCS student in grades 6-12. The student does not have to be a current member of the band to join. OCS 75th Anniversary Events—Mark Your Calendar!
The first event is an alumni and friends pickleball tournament that will be held on Saturday, January 10th from 8 am to 3 pm. Registration is $25. We have room for 64 players, first-come, first-served! Registrants will be asked their skill level on the registration form, and you will be placed in a bracket according to your skill level.
Aces Night Out – March 28th, 2026
- The second event is our Aces Night Out 75th Celebration Party, which will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 6 pm to 11 pm.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of food, fun, music, and more as we honor our history and celebrate our Owensboro Catholic community.
