Catholic High Swim Won City-County for the SIXTH Year in a Row

Owensboro Catholic High School won the combined team City-County title for the sixth year in a row! The team finished with a combined total of 297 points, leading the pack by 50 points!

The boys team dominated the waters finishing with a total of 205 points. The Aces were led by Jack Raymer and Jude Neal who both won two events! Jack won the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly while Jude won the 100 and 50 freestyle!

Other Aces who finished first were:

  • Cort Hobelmann: 100 backstroke
  • Evan Goetz: 100 breaststroke
  • Matthew Murphy: 1-meter diving

Three Aces relay groups also secured a win:

  • Cort, Jack, Nolan Iglehart, and Warren Goetz: 200 medley
  • Jack, Jude, Nolan, and Landon Reffitt: 200 free relay
  • Jude, Landon, Warren, and Cort: 400 free relay

The girls team secured 92 points toward the combined total win!
