President
Owensboro Catholic Schools (OCS) located in Owensboro, Kentucky a part of the Diocese of Owensboro is currently seeking applications for the position of President beginning July 1, 2018.
Owensboro Catholic Schools is a Catholic School System that provides quality education to its students and is fully accredited by the State of Kentucky’s Non-Public Schools Commission. All of the schools within the system are dedicated to Mary, the Elementary K-3 Campus through the Annunciation, the Elementary 4-6 Campus through the Immaculate Conception, the Middle School through the Holy Family and the High School
through the Assumption. OCS shares in the mission of the Church in communion with families and parishes to provide excellence in Catholic faith formation and academics which prepare students to become responsible members of family, Church and community.

Qualifications:
•Practicing Catholic who establishes a vision infused with Catholic Identity
•Seven to ten years of education administrative experience, preferably in a Catholic School or relevant institutional experiences in non
-profit, higher education, corporate or public sector career
•Leadership skills for institutional advancement/development activities, including initiating and nurturing donor relationships and community partnerships
•Experience with enrollment management strategies to recruit and retain students, including managing financial aid programs
•Excellent human relations and communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, staff , parents, alumni, prospective families, community leaders and donors
•Successful leading and engaging in fundraising for annual fund and major campaigns
•Experience developing and executing strategic planning processes
•Experience overseeing business and financial operations
 
Major Responsibilities:
The Owensboro Catholic School President will have the overall responsibility for the management of OCS, and for providing leadership to its educational mission and values consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church. The President provides visionary and spiritual leadership for all areas of operation through implementation of the strategic plan.
The President oversees advancement including major fund development, finance and business affairs, human resources, marketing and communications, enrollment management and community relations. Working in collaboration with the OCS principals, the President ensures the continuity and continued growth of the exceptional and innovative academic program of the schools. Working with the Advancement office, the
President designs and leads strategies to ensure short and long -term financial stability and growth.
The President hires, provides support and development, supervises, and evaluates OCS school principals and OCS central office staff.
The President promotes the good reputation and values of the school as the liaison between the OCS schools, the School Council and the Diocese.
 
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time 12-month position. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Owensboro Catholic Schools

Accounting Assistant – Accounts Payable

Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking applicants for an Accounting Assistant – Accounts Payable in Central Office.  This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for accurate input of invoices and timely payment to vendors for Owensboro Catholic Schools.

Owensboro Catholic Elementary 4-6 Campus

Owensboro Catholic Middle School looking for an individual who would be interested in coaching our 8th grade volleyball team. This person must be 21 years of age or older have a solid background in volleyball. They also must complete Safe Environment and background checks. Acettes Dance Coach – OCHS

OCHS is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Acettes Dance coach to run team practices, events and performances. This position will help with the development of the program by working closely with dancers on skill development, team work and leadership. Health Tech Substitute

 Qualified applicant will serve as a Substitute Health Room Assistant on an “as needed” basis for any of the Health Rooms of the four OCS Campuses.

Job Description:   Provide basic first aid and medication administration to OCS students and staff as delegated by the School RN.   Basic record keeping of Health Room visits.  Good communicate skills. Reports directly to the School RN and indirectly to the Principal of the designated school site. 

Qualifications:

  • Education- High School Graduate; College courses in Health Care preferred
  • Experience- CPR, Basic First Aid, & Medication Administration preferred, but not necessary. This training will be provided upon hiring.
