The summer hours for the OCHS Athletic Office will be Mon – Wed. 8-3. The office

will be closed on Thursdays and Fridays and the week of June 24-28.

OCS Cross Country

Practice for boys and girls will begin on June 3rd. Practices will be Monday through Thursday at 6:45am at Yellow Creek Park. We will meet in the larger parking lot area in the middle of the park beside the pavilion and playground. From time to time we will have a practice at alternate locations to focus on hills or just to change things up.

Practices will last 45-60 mins to start the season, and will gradually get a little longer as we get closer to meets and build up our endurance. I will be posting specifics of every practice on the Team Snap app.

*Anyone that wants to run will need to have an updated physical on file with the school system.

We will have a parents meeting in middle of June that will be posted on Team Snap. If you have any interest in joining, please text Jacob Reid at 270-929-4663 your email and I will add you to the Team Snap group. Please include your name along with your email address. Scott Lowe, Mary Katherine Wathen, and Jacob Reid will be coaching the boys and girls varsity/middle school squads again this year. I know we have several kids who have expressed an interest in joining that may not have much running experience, that’s no problem at all, for many of our runners that went to state last year it was their first time running, we’ll start out easy and build up over the course of the summer. We look forward to seeing you all!

Spring into Summer 5K

Bingo

Bingo is one of the biggest fundraisers for Owensboro Catholic Schools. Bingo enhances our K-12 endeavors, most notably with our extra-curriculars. Bingo is an easy way to get involved and a fun chance to gather your family or friends for a chance to win some big dollars. This coming weekend is the First of the Month Weekend and we have the Lucky # and the Big X Jackpot that will be up to$1,000.00 and the Queen of Hearts that will be a minimum of $500.00
