As a reminder – you will be seeing a charge of $175 on your tuition bill for 2018-19. This $175 represents the SCRIP goal that each family used to have to meet before eventually earning their tuition rebate through the use of SCRIP.

Beginning in 2018-19, this $175 is being added to your bill at the start of the year rather than at the end of the year.

By doing this, you will begin to earn your tuition rebate with your very first purchase and that will add up throughout the year until April 30, 2019.

Here is an example –

Total purchases (gas, groceries, clothing, utilities, etc.) in 2018-19 = $12,000. Let’s say your average percentage earned was 8%. You would earn a rebate total of $960. Your tuition deduction is 75% of that $960, which equals $720 off your tuition.
