OCES Boys Basketball and Girls Cheerleading

If you have a son interested in playing elementary basketball or a daughter interested in cheerleading, please see the attached form.  Registration is November 28th.

Boys Basketball & Cheerleading Registration
All girls and boys in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades that are enrolled in the Owensboro Catholic Schools or in a parish sponsored faith formation program are eligible to participate.
Girls (Cheerleading) and Boys (Basketball)
November 28, 2017
5:30-6:30 PM
Registration fee is $45 for the first child and $30 for each additional child payable to Owensboro Catholic Schools.
Please Note – The boy’s season will run from December to February.

The drawing for the UK raffle will take place in OCS Central Office this Friday at noon. Get your tickets today! Less than 400 tickets have been sold to date so the odds are looking pretty good for one lucky winner. Remember this package includes 2 lower arena tickets to the UK Wildcats vs Virginia Tech Hokies, an overnight stay at the Hilton downtown Lexington, a $50 gas card and a $50 restaurant card. Only $5 per ticket. Tickets available at every campus location and central office. Who will the lucky winner be?

4-H Speech Contest Winners – 4-6 Campus

Congratulations to the following students who placed at the 4-H Speech Contest last night:

11 Year Olds:  Ginny Young 1st, Evie Hayden 2nd, Julia Marshall 1st, and Katie Scheithe 2nd.

12 Year Olds:  Emma Haynes 1st, Henry Moore 2nd, Elizabeth Hayden 1st, and Jody Hopgood 2nd.     

These students will advance to the run-off competition on Thursday to determine a 1st and 2nd place winner for each division.
