Officer Courtney Yerington, DARE officer with the Owensboro Police Department, will be presenting a program on internet safety for all OCS parents on Thursday, April 27th at 6:00 p.m. at OCMS.
Her presentation will include: posting inappropriate content online, sharing personal information online, sexting, protecting yourself from online predators, and cyber-bullying.
We know that this can be a difficult and, sometimes, uncomfortable topic of conversation. However, we know that our students are being exposed to these situations online, and we want them to have the tools they need to protect themselves.
