Several students from Owensboro Catholic Middle School attended the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA). During this three-day experiential learning conference, students represented Myanmar.
Students participated directly in simulated international diplomacy. They had the chance to debate with other schools, develop empathy, hone their critical thinking skills, and engage with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues. The delegation was awarded Premiere Delegation status for achieving a level of esteemed notoriety and accomplishments. Charlotte Ranallo received an Outstanding Ambassador award, and Grace Calhoun and Elizabeth Ray earned best speaker awards. We are very proud of our KUNA delegation for representing OCMS so well!
