Catholic Schools week Celebration Begins Sunday, Jan. 28

The annual celebration of Catholic Schools Week begins this Sunday and goes on through Feb. 3. Celebrating CSW is important on many different levels, as it gives schools from across the country the opportunity to highlight the important role played by Catholic education and the students that attend.

Each day throughout the week is centered around a specific theme:

Sunday – Celebrating Your Parish, Monday – Celebrating Your Community, Tuesday – Celebrating Your Students, Wednesday – Celebrating Your Nation, Thursday – Celebrating Your Vocations, Friday – Celebrating Your Faculty, Staff, and Volunteers, Saturday – Celebrating Families. And while schools have the opportunity to move or combine these celebrations, schools across the country use these themes as a way to promote the many positive contributions made by Catholic schools!

On Sunday – Celebrating Your Parish – gives OCS an opportunity to thank our sponsoring parishes for their religious guidance, prayers and support! Our students serve their respective parishes in a multitude of ways, from serving at Mass to working at picnics.

ACES NATION would like to say THANK YOU to each one of our sponsoring parishes – Blessed Mother, Blessed Sacrament, Immaculate, Lourdes, Precious Blood, St. Alphonsus, St. Anthony, St. Augustine, St. Elizabeth, Sts. Joseph and Paul, St. Martin, St. Mary Magdalene, St. Peter, St. Pius X, and St. Stephen
