FFA Teddy Bear Toss

Owensboro Catholic FFA is having a teddy bear toss for a Community Service project that is an important aspect of their organization.  A Teddy Bear toss is a popular holiday season promotion at many sporting events. Fans are encouraged to bring stuffed animals to the game and to throw onto the floor during the intermission time between the OCHS Girls Varsity and OCHS Boys Varsity Friday December 15th.  There will be an announcement of when to throw the animals onto the court. The animals will be gathered up to be donated to Norton’s Children Hospital and other local charities.

All-State Band

Congratulations to Kelly Hayden on making All-State Band for the 2nd year in a row.  Making All-State is the highest honor a high school band student can achieve individually in the state.  Kelly will represent Owensboro Catholic at the 2018 KMEA State Music Conference in February.  Congrats Kelly!
