Preregistration and Registration Combined for 2015-16

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT & INFORMATION
Pre-Registration and Registration Combined for 2015-2016

Based on the many positive comments concerning the On-Line Registration process held last summer prior to the start of the school year, I am pleased to announce that the decision has been made to combine Pre-Registration and Registration into one On-Line Registration process.  By combining the events into one on-line experience, all essential information, permissions and acknowledgments included in the myriad of forms collected during the pre-registration and registration processes of the past will be included in an easy to follow online format.  With our partners at InfoSnap and STI, we have worked diligently over these past several weeks to tweak and fine tune the on-line process experienced by all OCS families last July.  You will find that much of the information collected last summer will already be pre-populated in the on-line registration forms since the data was synced with iNow.

  • Please remember to write down your user name and password. You can step away in mid-process.When you return you will need to login using your user name and password. When you restart, you begin at the point where you left.
  • For a currently enrolled student, much of the information is pre-populated from data collected and stored in iNow.We ask that you review, make necessary revisions, add additional information requested and then click Submit. Please note that the large red asterisk designates required information. You will not be able to ultimately submit the form until all required questions have been answered.Prior to submission, the form will provide an opportunity for you to review all of the information you have provided. If a required question has not been answered, you will be able to click on the word REQUIRED that appears on the Review page. You will be taken to the question and given the opportunity to provide an answer.Click on Continue (at the top or bottom of the form) and you will return to the review page.Once all REQUIRED questions are answered and you are satisfied with the information provided, click Submit.
  • The Medical page will take you the longest to complete.Due to the time sensitivity and medical importance of the information, InfoSnap has suggested that this section not provide pre-populated information.I ask that you carefully answer each of the questions. Mrs. Sherry Krampe, the OCS Student Health Coordinator, and our school site Health Techs need your honest, current and accurate answers to adequately and appropriately serve you and your child(ren). They certainly will be scrutinizing the information provided. The information will be synced into iNow for their review and use.
  • Beginning in 2015-2016 all OCS families are required to earn $175.00 in SCRIP SUCCE$$ profit.A SCRIP SUCCE$$ Program Agreement is included in the online process. It is imperative that you review this page carefully. The IRS requires that we give you options on how you would like to allocate your rebate once you have met your profit goal of $175.00.The options are outlined on the form.In the end, please remember that your allocation must add up to 100%.Also, because there is a large red asterisk next to each question, you must provide an answer for each one – even if the answer is 0%.Since most families chose to use their rebate as a payment toward the next year’s tuition, this has been defaulted on the SCRIP SUCCE$$ Program Agreement. You have the option to change the default. Please make sure that your allocation adds up to 100% and there is an answer for each question –even if the answer is 0%.
  • As last year, a Tuition Payment Agreement is a required form to be completed.
  • In the past, the first step in the registration process was tuition payment related. Those who needed to make a payment, establish their FACTS account or make payment arrangements, were required to do this before they were cleared to complete the Registration process. The same is true in this Online Registration process:
  • If you checked on the Tuition Payment Agreement form that you plan to pay your tuition in full for 2015-2016 prior to July 15th, you will be permitted to complete and submit the online form. Please stop by Central Office and make your payment. If you decide prior to July 15th that you would now like to pay monthly via FACTS, we ask that you contact Central Office so that the appropriate arrangements can be made.
  • A HOLD status will be placed on the Online Registration process for any of the issues listed below. You will be able to log into your InfoSnap account.Due to the HOLD you will not have access to the online form. Please stop by or contact Central Office if you have one of these issues. The HOLD will be released as soon as the issue is resolved and you will be given access to complete the online form.
  • Suitable agreement not in place covering outstanding balance from previous years
  • Account is not current for 2014-2015
  • Outstanding balance in Extended Day charges for 2014-2015
  • Outstanding balance in HS fees for 2014-2015
  • Returned checks not paid

I am excited about moving Pre-Registration and Registration into one on-line process.  My hope and prayer is that your experience again will be positive.  Your thoughts and insights are welcomed and encouraged as a part of our evaluation of the process.  Do not hesitate to call, stop by Central Office and/or send me an email message.
