All: You will receive news about Owensboro Catholic School students, accomplishments and various reminders.
All: A Shadow Day or tour can be scheduled through the school site. This is a 1⁄2 day set up for your child to shadow a current OCS student to experience classes and meet other students from OCS. At the Elementary K-3 Campus, tours can include visits to classrooms.
OCHS & OCMS: Required for any transfer student from non-OCS schools to review transfer procedures, academic goals and policies.
All: Required for transfer students entering grades 1-12 to review policies and academic records.
All: You will receive various informational pieces about OCS.
OCHS: A Parent/New Student Information Night will be held to review class options and policies. Class schedule requests are collected by OCHS personnel. Time and date to be announced.
All: Tuition Assistance packets are mailed to families to be filled out for the upcoming school year. We encourage all families to apply for Tuition Assistance. Over 1⁄2 of OCS families apply and receive tuition assistance. All families who are interested in assistance are encouraged to apply by the first round deadline. Please note that submitting the Tuition Assistance form does not commit you to registering for OCS.
OCMS & OCES: OCES and OCMS Open Houses are held. Time and date to be announced.
OCMS: Class schedule requests are collected by OCMS personnel.
All: Tuition Assistance forms are due to be included in the first round of financial aid awards. These are mailed directly to the financial aid company. Letters are mailed from OCS to the families in mid-March outlining their financial aid package. Other deadlines are available for later rounds of financial aid awards.
All: Pre-registration is held. Pre- registration forms are mailed to families. Pre-registration is necessary for class sizes to be determined. Payments plans are set up at this time.
All: Be sure to make any necessary doctor appointments required for school registration.
All: First payment for the school year begins for a 12-month payment plan. Begin using SCRIP.
All: Registration is required for all families. You will receive a reminder of the specific date, time and location in the mail.
