Accelerated Reader
The Accelerated Reader program (AR) at Owensboro Catholic Middle School is a program in which students read a book and take a computer-based test. Accelerated Reader helps students with reading comprehension. Each book is worth a given number of points. If the student makes a 100% on the test, he or she will earn all the possible points, otherwise the points are pro-rated based on the number of test questions answered correctly.
