Parents
The importance of home and school working together is of the utmost importance to the philosophy behind our Catholic School. Many volunteer opportunities are available and parents are always welcome.
Parents are kept informed and updated on everything that is going on at school through:
• Daily e-mail announcements – OCHS sends out daily e-mail announcements to parents on upcoming events and activities, reminders and lunch menu.
• OCHS Website – The OCHS website is updated daily with a calendar of events, and
highlights and pictures of activities that have taken place at school.
• Parent-Teacher Conferences – Formal conferences are scheduled at the end of the first quarter; parents may request a conference with their child’s teacher at any time throughout the year.
• Parent Portal - an internet based site designed for teachers to post current grades for each student and accessible by parents.
• Progress Reports – Report cards are mailed home every 9-weeks.
