Parents
The importance of home and school working together is of the utmost importance to the philosophy behind our Catholic School. Many volunteer opportunities are available and parents are always welcome.
Parents are kept informed and updated on everything that is going on at
school through:
E-mail announcements – The principal sends out e-mail announcements to parents on upcoming events and activities, reminders, birthdays, lunch menu, daily prayers, and reflections. Anyone wishing to receive these can sign up by giving a current e-mail address.
4-6 Website – The 4-6 Campus website is updated daily with a calendar of events, lunch menu, and highlights and pictures of activities that have taken place at school
School Newsletter – Students take home a monthly school newsletter highlighting the events and informing parents of upcoming events on the school calendar
Weekly Classroom Newsletter – Teachers send home a weekly newsletter to parents, informing them of upcoming tests, weekly homework, and curriculum highlights
Parent-Teacher Conferences – Formal conferences are scheduled at the end of the first quarter; parents may request a conference with their child’s teacher at any time throughout the year
Progress Reports – Report cards go home every 9-weeks. Mid-quarter grade reports are sent home to keep parents updated on their child’s progress. The Parent Portal is a way for parents to keep informed all year long.
