Aces Cafe
Welcome to the 4-6 Campus Cafeteria!
Due to new government regulations and concerns about obesity in children and adults, our school menu will be analyzed for nutritional value. There will be a standardized menu for each week of the month.
Under the Diocesan Wellness Plan, students will be offered more fresh fruits and vegetables, the amount of ketchup and sauces will be limited, and there will only be a choice of three beverages: white milk, chocolate milk, or a 4 oz. Container of 100% orange juice. Students may also purchase bottled water for $1.00.
Also under the Diocesan Wellness Plan, students may not bring birthday treats to eat during school hours. Instead students will receive a non-uniform day on the day of their birthday.
Students may purchase breakfast items or snack items during Power Break from 8:30 to 9:00 A.M. every day except on Mass days. Snack items may also be brought from home to be eaten during this time. All snack items and drinks must meet the new government guidelines and regulations.
- Each student has been assigned a “Pin” number to be used for breakfast and lunch.
- Money can be “Banked” in each child’s account for use during the school year.
- You can put as much or as little money into the account as often as you like. Each child needs to maintain a positive balance throughout the year.
- The cost Per Week of meals is as follows:
Breakfast $ 6.25
Lunch $10.00
If payments are for more than one child, please specify the amount you would like to go to each child. Please make sure your child’s pin number is on the check.
- When an account is getting low, the student will be informed. A check needs to be sent immediately to maintain a positive account balance.
- When a child pays cash at lunch, no change will be given. The change will go into their account.
- If your child received free or reduced meal prices last year, they will continue to do so for one month. You must fill out a new form to continue receiving free or reduced lunches. These forms are due by September 4. We encourage you to fill out a form if you think you might qualify. All free and reduced applications are CONFIDENTIAL.
