Substitute Health Room Assistant – Qualified applicant will serve as a Substitute Health Room Assistant on an “as needed” basis for any of the Health Rooms of the four OCS Campuses.

Job Description:   Provide basic first aid and medication administration to OCS students and staff as delegated by the School RN.   Basic record keeping of Health Room visits.  Good communicate skills. Reports directly to the School RN and indirectly to the Principal of the designated school site.

Qualifications:

  • Education- High School Graduate; College courses in Health Care preferred
  • Experience- CPR, Basic First Aid, & Medication Administration preferred, but not necessary.  This training will be provided upon hiring.

OCES 4-6 Campus – The 4-6 Campus has an immediate opening for custodian.  This is a 12-month position, Monday –   Friday.  Work hours are 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m (20 hrs per week).  Full-time benefits.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

Check and maintain gym area and main building, including restroom.  Pick up trash on campus grounds, mow and trim lawn, snow and ice removal.  Replace lights, maintain playground and playground equipment, clean health room and health room restroom, clean and vacuum office area, empty kitchen trash cans during lunch time, do minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.

Successful candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs.  Job requires, lifting, stooping, squatting, reaching, bending, carrying, climbing, pushing and pulling.
