OCS K-8 PTO Meeting – Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 6PM

The K-8 PTO will have its first general meeting on Tuesday, September 8th at 6 pm in the K-3 cafeteria. The PTO will be discussing upcoming events: K-8 tailgate, OCMS Halloween party, OCMS grandparents day, and other events. We will also discuss fundraising opportunities, including the PTO dinner/ auction in the spring. All parents and teachers are invited!

OCMS Earns Owensboro Health Gives Community Benefit Program Grant

OCMS was awarded $4,892 from the Owensboro Health GIVES Community Benefit Program yesterday. The monies will be used to enhance the physical education equipment at the middle school. We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Owensboro Health for being a strong supporter of Owensboro Catholic and our community!

OCHS ACT Scores Continue to Shine

The OCHS class of 2015 continued the long standing tradition of academic excellence by scoring a 22.5 composite average on the ACT test. Every student (100%) from the class of 2015 took the test. Congratulations to each of our students! OCHS ACT Test Scores 2015  

SCRIP Office to Close 11:30A – 1:30P on Thursday, Aug. 27

The SCRIP office will be closed from 11:30A – 1:30P on Thursday, August 27 so that we can attend the funeral of Lee Schemmel, husband of Melba Schemmel. Melba was the first SCRIP coordinator for OCS and served a vital roll in the long standing success of the program. The funeral mass for Lee will be at St. Stephen Cathedral at Noon. Please keep Melba, and her family in your prayers.
